After leaving Tirana we will head toward Shkodra, the biggest city of Albanian North, characterized by a wealthy tradition and culture. A big role in this takes also the unique culinary created in centuries also as a influence of four main religions. Shkodra is one of the cities with the richest cuisine in Albania.
Known as the biggest lake of Balkan, Lake of Shkoder is the natural home of Shkodra’s karp. This unique dish will be cooked professionally in one of the traditional restaurants by the Shkodra’s Lake.
After lunch and a short visit of the City we will head toward the Zadrima Region one of the most prosperous regions of Albania with very warm and welcoming people. We will get introduce with the local ancient wine producing tradition and unique ethnography of the region.
Overnight at “Mrrizi i Zanave” an Agro tourism farm when traditional cuisine is beautifully fused with traditional one. Visit of the Farm, Dinner and Overnight at “Mrrizi i Zanave”.
Leaving Fishta behind we will head to Tirana when we will participate in a Walking Food Tour of the City. In this tour we will spot some of the hidden gems and unique recipes of local food. Different stops and snacks along the walk in Tirana.
In the early afternoon we will join a Traditional Food Cooking Class when everyone will be encouraged to prepare three Unique Albanian Dishes. Along the tour we will have the chance to try some homemade wine and different types of Raki, without mentioning the other starters and appetizers from the house. Overnight in Tirana.
The next breakfast will start with a “Pace”, a very traditional Albanian soup prepared from the inner head meat of the cow. We will head toward Pogradec, a city lied in the shores of Ohrid Lake famous for its unique culinary and wine producing. We will be welcomed by a local family and will be tought how to cook “Koran” the most unique fish of the lake.
Sad fact: “Koran” is found only in Ohrid Lake so you cannot reproduce it identically, but you can improvise somehow
Home Food style lunch with the local family.
Depended on the weather we will also participate in some fishing lessons from a local fisherman or visiting the fish farm of Koran near Tushemisht, an unique village of the area.
Overnight in Pogradec.
We will head toward Vlora and its amazing culture, astonishing nature and delicious food. In Vlora we will find the best of Mediterrian Cuisine (Olive Oil, seafood and fresh vegetables) mixed with the famous roasted Dukati goat meat.

Leaving Vlora we will head toward Berat an Ancient, more than 2000 years old city protected by UNESCO.
City Tour of Berat and visit in the castle. Traditional Lunch in a family run restaurant with a mix of unique food tastes explained from the head chef. We will be taught how to cook frogs legs and eels, some of the most unique dishes for the central south of Albania as used to be a very swampy terrain.
Return in Tirana.
