4 Day Tour of Kosovo, N Macedonia and Albania from Pristina

We’ll start the day early in Pristina and drive to Skopje, where we’ll begin with a guided city tour of one of the most fascinating cities in the Balkans, known as the “City of Statues.” We’ll visit the Stone Bridge, Main Square, and the House of Mother Teresa, and explore the Skopje Fortress. We’ll also experience the city’s religious diversity, visiting both the St. Clement of Ohrid Church and the Mustafa Pasha Mosque. After our time in Skopje, we’ll drive south to Ohrid, a UNESCO World Heritage site nestled by the serene Lake Ohrid. Overnight in Ohrid.

Known as the “Jerusalem of the Balkans,” Ohrid is famous for its rich history and beautiful mix of Byzantine and Ottoman architecture. Our tour will include a visit to the Old Town and Samuil Fortress, followed by a walk to Kaneo Bay to see the iconic Church of St. John. The city’s peaceful blend of Christianity and Islam, along with its cultural heritage, will leave a lasting impression. After exploring Ohrid, we’ll head to Berat with a visit to the Berat Castle, which offers sweeping views of the town and the surrounding landscapes. We will also explore the Onufri National Iconographic Museum and take a stroll through the Mangalem and Gorica quarters, famous for their unique Ottoman-era architecture. Overnight in Berat.

We’ll begin the day in Berat, a UNESCO World Heritage town known as the “City of a Thousand Windows.” After a visit to Berat Castle, offering sweeping views of the town and surrounding landscapes, we’ll explore the Onufri National Iconographic Museum and take a stroll through the charming Mangalem and Gorica quarters, famous for their unique Ottoman-era architecture. After lunch, we’ll drive south along the stunning Albanian Riviera, passing through picturesque villages and stunning coastal scenery. Our first stop will be Saranda, a lively seaside town where you can enjoy beautiful beaches and stunning views of the Ionian Sea. From there, we’ll continue to the idyllic Ksamil islands, known for their turquoise waters and serene atmosphere, perfect for a swim or a relaxing afternoon. On our way back, we’ll visit the Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër), a mesmerizing natural spring with crystal-clear water that seems to change color as it flows. Overnight in the Albanian Riviera.

We’ll start the day by leaving the Albanian Riviera and heading north to Tirana, Albania’s lively capital. Upon arrival, we’ll visit Skanderbeg Square, the National History Museum, and the Et’hem Bey Mosque, before strolling through the trendy Blloku district. After lunch, we’ll continue our journey to Prizren, Kosovo’s cultural capital, nestled beneath Prizren Castle. We’ll explore the House of the Prizren League, a key site in Albania’s struggle for independence, and visit the Ethnographic Museum. Our tour will also include a walk through the Traditional Bazaar around the Sinan Pasha Mosque, where you can enjoy the charm of local handicrafts and the lively atmosphere. Finally, we’ll head back to Pristina to conclude our day.
