This is a beginner cooking class but even more it’s a hangout with locals. You get to talk about Albania, ask questions, and share your own experiences in Albania and can probably gain a lot of insight from those experiences you have already had because you can discuss it with Andi. My experience was with one other traveler and we assisted in making all the dishes mentioned while also trying their homemade Raki and wine. Not only was this fun, but it is probably the most reasonably priced tour you can find. You get time with locals (our visit was 3.5 hours), fantastic local food (which can be hard to find in Tirana sometimes), and you take home what you can’t eat. It’s very relaxed and just a very wholesome experience. I am not one for cooking classes as much, but you should strongly consider taking this experience. Thank you Andi and Sindi! Our 3... read more days with our guide Andi were worth remembering. We did amazing hikes, enjoyed beautiful sceneries, stayed in Jezerca’s beautiful cabin, and ate lots of amazing food! Andi is very fluent in English and always has an answer to every question. I call him a “walking encyclopedia” because he truly is. He was also very patient and supportive to me and my cousin who aren’t experienced hikers. On our way back home, we passed by Prizren Kosovo which was a sweet way to end our wonderful trip.
