Hiking in Pellumbas Cave and Erzeni Canyon near Tirana

We pick you up anywhere near Tirana and start driving East to Pellumbas Village which will take us about 1 hour to arrive at the destination. As a country with plenty of traditions, and delicious cuisine this village attracts plenty of tourists, especially on the weekend as a gateway from the busy capital. 

The hike is around 2 km and lasts around 2 hours overall. At the end of the trail, we will find the entrance of the Black Cave, which is one of the biggest in Albania. This trail from 2010 has been one of the most visited touristic hiking around Tirana. 

From there we start to explore the Cave walking inside of it for around 150 meters, the whole exploring lasts around 20 – 30 min and then we take back the same trail to get back to the village. Professional lights will be used for the entrance to the cave. 

After visiting the cave we go on hiking along Erzeni Canyon to the Linn of Skorane. A narrow path will lead us down along the river and offer some spectacular views, especially near the end of it to the main damn. 

After the hike, we will have time to completely explore the area with a traditional lunch in one of the restaurants in the area. Usually, family-based restaurants fanatically preserve the secret of their recipes and guarantee using the freshest product all with a typically warm welcome. 

After lunch, we will start the driving back to Tirana, where hotel drop of is offered.
